The first page got to be too big. So, when two people submitted
material for poetry, original works, I decided it was time to start with
a second link.
Enjoy!

Hi, my name is Kip McCrimon and I like to write poetry. Here is some of my stuff. You can reach me at alvin@awod.com
Death chases me year after year,
a natrual, unborn fear,
people fight every day,
it's just the human way.
The violence is surrounding us all,
when will it take it's fall?
they tried to end the war,
but they haven't found what they're looking for.
Heaven is warm, it's there to hold,
and Hell is filled with a grizzly cold,
it's peace that I've found,
funny, I always thought it was the other way around.
I have a poem that you may be interested in. It is called THE CROW, after the most kick butt movie ever, The Crow. I give all credit to the movie, it was my inspiration for this work of art. Bryan, if you decide to use this one, please make a note of this, I would greatly appriceate it. This is one of my favorite poems, I love to read it to people. Well with out further adeu.......

There's a break in the ring,
Destroying the beautiful silver peace.
It's bent back in place with loving hands.
But it catches on things.
The ring withstood the passion of the forges heat,
But no one could notice that one weak link.
And now as I look back
On the break in the ring
My own tears fall
For that one weak link.

Hello. A friend of mine suggested that I send you one of my poems. I just
thought I'd send one of the short ones because I'm low on time....
Be my angel as midnight comes
and from the darkness protect me.
Guide me through the blinding dark
and on the other side of night emerge.
Within and without see me throughout the tides;
low hover and watch the demons with keen eye.
Part from this place on the morn
and return again at the break of day.
Again fend off the spirits
of the midnight hour.

This one came from a song called
I thought dreams belonged to other men
'Cuz each time I got close
They'd fall apart again
I feared my heart would beat in secrecy
I faced the nights alone
Oh, how could I have known
That all my life I only needed you
-Almost Paradise, love theme from Footloose, by Eric Carmen and Dean
Pitchford
Almost Paradise fits...thank you Rachel. You have made my life complete.
This is a poem I wrote for Rachel...for my account's .plan file. Since I'm not very good with poetry, this is kinda humble...so don't expect much
To win the game and keep the prize,
catch the woman with the bright blue eyes!
Watching those eyes, I get lost in their depths,
The sadness, the joys, everything else.
I love her,
I need her,
I'm hers as much as she's mine.
One day maybe I'll be one of the lucky few,
Who finds blissful happiness in the arms of a woman so true.
She'll be mine-
if the cards are dealt right,
To have and to hold,
Every night.
